Best Florida Engagement Photo Spots

From Orlando to Tampa to Jacksonville, here are some of my favorite photo spots for engagement sessions!

Florida Beaches

It's no secret that Florida has a lot of beaches! Between Clearwater, Daytona, and Miami, the beaches are the perfect spot for a a natural vibe with lots of water. I recommend sunrise or sunset for the best beach pictures depending on the mood and planning to wear something neutral and flowy (shoes not required).

Downtown Winter Park

Set just north of Downtown Orlando, is a quaint town called Winter Park. With brick-lined and cobblestoned streets, lush green areas, and luxury shopping and residential spots, Winter Park is perfect for a downtown vibe that is less urban and more MidCentury Modern with a splash of Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean.

Lake Louisa State Park

Florida is home to many state parks that offer gorgeous natural landscapes. Lake Louisa is no exception. With a dedicated "photography spot" that gets gorgeous sunsets, and lots of natural water and trees, this park is perfect for a rural, not too tropical, vibe.

Bok Tower Gardens

Florida isn't just for palm trees and open fields, there's also nature that looks like it was out of a Jane Austen novel. Just outside of Orlando, is an expansive garden set on top of a mountain called Bok Tower Gardens. If you're looking for a romantic spot with natural, scenic views this one is a great choice!

Harry P. Leu Gardens

Set right in the heart of Orlando is Harry P. Leu Gardens. This is a 50-acre botanical garden with a wide array of locations to take pictures in. If your vibe is garden party and you like lots of trees and flowers, this is the spot for you. Keep in mind, during the summer they are only open until sunset on Thursdays and it does cost $15 per person to get in.

Kraft Azaela Garden

Kraft Azaela is another spot located right in the heart of Orlando in Winter Park. This free, public garden a small but gorgeous spot for natural, romantic photos. And as a bonus, it has a rotunda perfect for taking photos at if you want to switch up the vibe from just nature. Keep in mind, since it is small and free it can get crowded and you may have to wait for the rotunda to be free from a line of other photo shoots and guests wanting to get photos.
